چکیده
Treatment of mice with guanethidine sulphate every 48 h from birth until 14 days produced a 64.2 and 68.0 per cent reduction in perikarya of the superior cervical and coeliac ganglia, respectively, at 15 days after birth and 78.9 and 81.3 per cent at 30 days. The growth rate of mice between 21 and 30 days after birth was significantly reduced. At 15 and 30 days after birth, C3H]-thymidine was injected into control and sympathectomized mice, and labelling indices for the inner enamel epithelium, outer enamel epithelium, stratum intermedium, stellate reticulum, odontoblasts, and pulp and periodontal ligament fibroblasts determined from autoradiographs. A statistically significant decline in labelhng index was found in the inner enamel epithelium, stellate reticulum, and odontoblast cell populations at 30 days as compared to 15 days in controls. Sympathectomized mice demonstrated a significant decline in labelling index in the inner enamel epithelium, stratum intermedium, odontoblasts, and pulp fibroblasts at 30 days as compared to 15 days. The sympathetic nervous system, therefore, has only a minimal role in regulation in incisor eruption and cellular proliferation. The effect of sympathectomy on the stratum intermedium and stellate reticulum may be due to increased tissue pressure resulting from loss of vasoconstrictive sympathetic control.

The effect of aqueous extract of Phoenix Dactylifera Pollen on In vitro viability and proliferation rate of neonatal mouse spermatogonial stem cells
Introduction: There is a fast growing tendency in the consumption of herbal remedies in the developing countries. One of the traditional medicines used for male infertility is Date palm (Phoenix dactylifera) pollen (DPP). The goal of the present study was to investigate the effect of aqueous extract of DPP on In vitro viability and proliferation rate of neonate mouse spermatogonial stem cells (...

Purpose: To investigate of the effects of a poly L-lactic acid (PLLA) nanofiber scaffold on proliferation of frozen-thawed neonate mouse spermatogonial stem cells.Materials and Methods: Spermatogonial cells were isolated from neonatal 3-6-day-old NMRI mice testes by two steps enzymatic digestion and differential plating. The isolated spermatogonial cells were divided into four culture groups: 1...
متن کاملInvestigation on the Effect of Low Intensity Ultrasound Stimulation on Mouse Spermatogonial Stem Cell Proliferation and Colonization
Introduction: Spermatogonial stem cells (SSCs) are the foundation of spermatogenesis. New procedure such as sound wave especially low intensity ultrasound (LIUS) can be effective on increasing the number of cells. In this study, the effect of LIUS stimulation on mouse SSCs proliferation and colonization was investigated. Methods: Isolated SSCs from neonatal mice were cultured in DMEM cultur...
متن کاملEffects of BIO on proliferation and chondrogenic differentiation of mouse marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells
In vitro expansion of mesenchymal stem cell (MSCs) into large number is necessary for their application in cell-based treatment of articular cartilage defects. On the other hand, some studies have indicated that BIO (6-Bromoindirubin-3-Oxime) possesses mitogenic effects on cell culture. The objective of the present study was to examine the effect of BIO on in vitro expansion and chondrogenic di...

Background & Aim: Tolerance to the semi-allogenic fetal graft by the maternal immune system is a medical enigma that has stimulated investigations for a half of century. Several hypotheses have been proposed to explain the tolerance of mother to the fetus. The successful pregnancy is proposed and proved by many scientists to be a Th2 dominant phenomenon. This hypothesis is proved in most as...
